Target
SJR relaunched Target's behind-the-scenes magazine site, A Bullseye View. I led creative direction, UX design, and managed the design and development processes in partnership with the account lead.
The New ABV
We created a responsive, fully custom Wordpress site that delivers fresh content daily to customers across all devices and screen sizes.
Homepage, before the redesign
The desktop-only site didn't reach a growing segment of mobile consumers and wasn't resonating with Target's fashion-savvy followers.
The New Design Direction
Interim deliverables like this design direction helped keep our client engaged throughout the process.
New Homepage, in-device
To fully demonstrate the power of a responsive system, we created comps across devices and platforms.
The Grid
We developed a responsive grid to make sure priority stories always land on top. To help editors showcase content, we created three style modules that can be applied to stories anywhere on the homepage.
The Story
We re-crafted the story page - removing excessive "related" links, social feeds, and rotating carousels - to create an inviting, memorable experience that puts Target's content first.
